QuickBooks Payroll ServiceThe setup we will do, and the payday we will not run.
Knowing the fence before the call saves everyone a polite argument.
Read the fence.
The morning we will take
We will help you get the federal employer number, open the Texas wage account, choose a provider, put people on a roster, set an owner wage when the company form requires one, and build a chart that can hold wages, employer taxes, and amounts held back. On the months you hire, we tie the provider summary to the bank. The return uses months whose summary and bank draft already agree. That list is the practice. Stretching it past the pay button would make it a different one.
Steven Palmieri is the person the footer number reaches, working as a Tax CFO. The practice's longer name for Steven Palmieri is the Entrepreneur's CFO, and the morning of work is the same either way. The opening screen is the short version of this fence. If you came wanting someone to calculate a paycheck and send it, you came wanting a provider. We will help you hire one. Becoming that provider because a refusal feels rude is the mistake this page exists to prevent.
The clicks and the signatures we will not take
We will not calculate a paycheck, release a draft, or file the payroll forms as the filer in the provider's place. Watching whether a filing happened is part of keeping the books honest. Substituting ourselves for the company that was hired to send it is a different business, and it is not this one.
An audit, a review, a compilation, and a letter that assures the statements are outside this door. An assured statement has to come from a firm the law lets sign one. The statute numbers sit on the disclosures page. If a bank has asked you for that letter, we say so before any fee, and we do not pretend this door can produce it.
We will not represent you in an employment-tax dispute. That representation belongs to an enrolled agent, a CPA, or an attorney. Clean records, a timeline, and a person who will sit while you decide whom to hire are available here. A power of attorney we are not allowed to sign is not.
Why the no is the useful part
Owners have been told yes by too many people who then disappeared on payday. A no you hear at the start is a calendar you can plan. Your cousin gets paid on a date the provider can hit. The quarter gets filed by the party named in the contract. We remain the people who notice if that party went quiet. Noticing is a real job. It is just not the same job as pressing the button.
Some companies should leave this door. No employees, and no plan to hire any, is one of those cases. A once-a-year box of receipts is another, unless a separate scope names that rebuild before it starts. The talk itself creates no duty. The duty starts at the signature.
Bring the thing you hope we will do. If it is on the first list, we will say how a morning looks. If it is on the second list, we will say who does that work, and we will not make you feel foolish for asking.
If the hope is a monthly tie after you already run payday, that hope is inside the fence, and it is smaller than a full setup. Say so. We will not expand a tie into a setup you already finished, and we will not shrink a missing account into a tie that has nothing to match.
What were you hoping we would click.
One sentence. The pay button, a form, or a letter from the bank.
You will be talking to the Steven Palmieri practice.
